I still have two of the older ones and they are fantastic. This one is by far the best one yet. Storage has been modified to have more storage in outer poacket (very cool water bottle retention system inside that), as well as inner storage area has been redone to allow for easy accessibility to stuff. Of all the packs, I truly believe the MULE is the best for the money over the HAWG, Spartan and others. Definitely gonna be using this for the next 5 years or more.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 5, 2020Color: MulticamVerified PurchaseAs seen in my review pic; Camel made the straps much wider than the original version that i purchased in the USMC PX in 2003. I finally lost that one and upgraded to this fine pack. I will be brief, no one has time for long BS first world reviews where people complain about what they didn't get. .
One: The neck space does not exist if you are like me and like to wear the front strap tight so it doesn't slosh around it seems like it will rub your neck completely off by the end of two hours. I am hoping it breaks in, but for now it is rather annoying.
two: they skimped on insulation thickness, and strap padding. (loss of weight; oh yea and comfort)
Pros, it will last for a long time, fits all the needs of my daily adventures far and near, keeps you hydrated, has fancy MOLLE attachments that no one really has a use for on such a small pack; And hey I got it for $90 bucks when Camel is selling it for $170 cant go wrong with that.
Cheers.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 7, 2017Ykk zippers and built like a tank plus perfect size. Great product I have many camelbaks this is with out question my new favorite. - Reviewed in the United States on July 11, 2016Ok, so I bought this pack for some day time outings (thought it would be perfect for Disneyland). The bag is well made. Quality wise, everything you expect from Camelbak. But I did have s few issue.
Zippers; the zippers themselves are not the problem. I'm more concerned about the compartments. The main compartment that holds the bladder is a single zipper pull. So is you store other things in there and decide to unzip it, you risk dumping the contents out onto the ground. 2 pulls would have been better. Would allow you to safely open compartment from the top and still keep it partially secured. Not a huge deal, but I would have preferred that.
Straps; probably may biggest issue. The straps are thin. A little too thin. Humping 100ozs of water + some gear takes its toll. There should be more padding on the straps. Adding a few mms of padding would go a long way.
Molle attachments. I prefer the old Molle straps to the ones on this one. More like slits in the material. They work, but I prefer the others
Waist strap; doesn't really need it. Not really usable. Better without it.
Water tube; the water tube itself is nice. The issue I have is that it would be nice to have an attachment point on the shoulder strap to keep it from dangling. The shoulder strap does have a small loop to put the tube through and you can utilize the D ring, but you have to take off the bite valve to do that. Not practical. Again, not a huge issue, but it would be nice.
All and all, I really like this small pack. Very good for day treks to Disneyland or other places. I attached the Camelbak insulated water bottle pouch which allows me to carry an additional 32 oz water bottle. Fits perfectly on the pack. I would recommend this low profile day pack.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 28, 2020Color: MulticamVerified PurchaseI'm a Mom of 3 and needed something that I could carry water and all the other crap that kids come with on adventures. I bought this because a 3L capacity for water was a big sell. I take it everywhere when we are on the go. The kids no longer carry water bottles as we all share the water. They even carry the bag themselves. It has on smaller pocket at the top which fits my phone and quick access items and the lower pocket is much larger to carry sunscreen, bug spray, hand sanitizer, sunglasses, snacks and more. I've biked, hiked and walked with it. I'm 5'5" and it fits great on my back. I wish it came in other colors, but being a military family i figured the OCP was good enough and it doesn't show dirt as much.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2019Color: MulticamVerified PurchasePurchased this replace my older ACU camelback I've had since 2006. I used it as soon as I got for my week trip to Disneyworld. Having the pockets on the outside is very helpful for holding extra gear you dont want in the pockets.
My only complaint is not having enough velcro space for both the name tape and the rank on the upper pocket.
The lower pocket has several pouches on the inside and an extra zipper pouch for other smaller items.
Camelback need to figure out ans better insulation system for the hose to keep the water cooler when its sitting there not being used.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good, small(ish) backpack
Color: MulticamVerified PurchaseAs one can expect from Camelbak, this is a well made, high quality backpack. It is best suited for day-long summer hikes, as it has a 3-litre water container included. So, you get enough hydration, and you can fit in enough warm weather cloths if you need a change or an extra light layer. Plenty room for some food too, and for some extra items. It has mole system options to ad extra small mole-bags. The only negative side I can see is lack of some ventilation solution on the side that is in contact with your back. I expect one will get plenty sweaty there, soon after doing anything more strenuous than an easy walk.

5.0 out of 5 stars Litraggio
Qualità ottima
Resistenza ottima tasche molto capienti e organizzate
